# Rankmio

> A tool for search and AI visibility: Rankmio measures whether a website ranks on Google and whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overviews cite it as a source — and turns that into concrete tasks.

Rankmio joins two questions that are usually answered separately: how visible is a website in classic search, and how visible is it inside the answers generative AI systems give? The visibility index combines both into one figure and names the data source that is missing instead of hiding the gap in the arithmetic.

Citation measurement queries the AI systems for real rather than estimating: for a stored question, one actual request goes to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, and the answer is checked for the domain appearing as a source. On top of that come first-party figures from Bing Webmaster Tools, which report Microsoft AI citations directly.

Further data sources: Google Search Console (connected through a Google account), DataForSEO for rankings and backlink profiles, Google PageSpeed Insights for load times, plus an in-house crawler for page structure, internal linking and structured data.

Rankmio is run by Knut Nickol in Germany; servers and data are located in the EU. The interface is available in German (rankmio.de) and English (rankmio.com).

Billing is by credits, not subscription. Registration includes 10 free credits, one full analysis costs 1 credit. Packages: 100 credits for EUR 10, 500 for EUR 45, 1,000 for EUR 80. No contract term, no domain limit.

What Rankmio is not: a website builder, an ad manager, a backlink marketplace or a plain rank tracker. Anyone who only wants to watch positions does not need it.
