Everything you need to know about Rankmio — credits, analyses, Keyword Hub, GEO module, competitors, tools, team, and privacy.
Rankmio delivers classic search-engine optimization: PageSpeed audits, technical checks (Core Web Vitals, robots.txt, sitemap, schema markup), keyword tracking via Google Search Console, competitor analyses and a site-audit todo list. The goal: more visibility, rankings and organic traffic from Google & Co.
Concretely, Rankmio combines: SEO checklist (50+ on-page rules), keyword hub with 12 sub-tabs, GSC integration, position tracker (up to 1,000 keywords per scan), competitor data packages and a sitemap hub with monitoring.
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) measures and improves your visibility in AI search engines and chatbots like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Claude. Rankmio tracks how often your website is cited as a source in AI answers, what citation rate competitors achieve and which phrases trigger AI mentions of your content.
Concrete Rankmio modules for GEO: Citability Score (0–100, 33+ heuristic and AI checks per URL), AI Visibility Monitor (auto / custom modes, AI recommendations for 0%-phrases), Citation Tracker with phrase-level rates per engine, Citation Discovery for finding new phrases, Schema Helper with FAQPage drift detection and 1-click JSON-LD generation. Plus the chat agent reads all these signals in plain language.
Why important: AI search is becoming a parallel traffic channel to Google. Sites that AI systems cite as source receive direct mentions in answers — without classic rankings. GEO ensures structure, schema markup, entity links (Wikidata-sameAs), author signals and source citations support this AI citation.
Rankmio is an SEO and AI search tool that shows you how to gain more visibility, traffic, and customers through Google and AI systems like chatbots.
Unlike traditional tools, Rankmio doesn't just analyze your website — it tells you exactly:
Rankmio combines classic SEO analysis (PageSpeed, crawler, visibility) with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — visibility in AI search engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. All in one tool: website analysis, Keyword Hub, Content Optimizer, competitor comparison, Sitemap Hub, robots.txt tool, AI answer simulation, and team management.
No. Rankmio uses a pure pay-per-use model with credits. You buy credits and use them whenever you want. There is no subscription, no monthly fees, and no automatic billing. Credits never expire.
Rankmio works in all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Brave. We recommend using the latest version. The interface is responsive and also works on tablets and smartphones.
Rankmio is one of the few tools that combines classic SEO analysis and AI visibility (GEO) in a single platform. Instead of just delivering data, Rankmio provides actionable recommendations with priorities and impact ratings.
The beginner wizard helps you find the optimal starting point for your use case.
Yes, in two ways:
The Dashboard is your central command center. After login you immediately see the most important KPIs for your active project:
Use the project selector in the top bar to switch between websites. Each project has its own dashboard data.
Go to Profile → Account → Google Search Console and click Connect. After authorizing with Google, go to Projects and assign the matching GSC property to your project. Once connected, the Dashboard Progress Hub upgrades to the full version with Rankings, Traffic, and Keyword charts.
Yes! We have a short video that explains all Dashboard features in a few minutes:
The Rankmio Score (0-100) is a weighted average of four sub-scores:
Run a Site Audit to update your scores. The Progress Hub tracks your score history over time.
Credits are the currency in Rankmio. Each feature has defined credit costs. The process is simple:
Upon registration, you receive 10 free credits for testing.
All feature prices — sorted by category and always up to date — on the Credits page.
At Buy Credits you choose a package:
Payment via credit card or local payment methods (via Paddle). Credits are credited instantly. No waiting, no subscription.
Credit-based features cannot be used — you will see a notice with a link to purchase credits. Important: All existing data, analyses, and projects remain fully intact. Credits are never deducted that you don't have.
The website analysis combines three pillars that are fetched in parallel via curl_multi:
The analysis delivers results in ~30 seconds. You can choose between three user agents: Standard, Googlebot Desktop, or Googlebot Mobile. Learn more
In addition to the homepage, you can also check individual subpages with the same analysis depth (PageSpeed + crawler). URLs are selected via the URL Picker — from three sources:
Max. 5 pages per run, max. 20 per project. Optional AI audit per page.
The Rankmio Score is a weighted overall score (0-100) based on 11 analysis pillars:
Performance (16%), SEO Checklist (16%), Keywords (12%), AI Visibility (10%), Core Web Vitals (8%), Sitemap (8%), Battle (8%), Content & AI (6%), Content Optimizer (6%), Answer Simulation (6%), and robots.txt (4%).
Color coding: Green from 70, Amber from 40, Red below 40, Gray = not analyzed. The more features you use, the more meaningful the score becomes. Learn more
The Site Audit is the central to-do list that automatically collects issues from all analysis areas. It includes:
Each to-do item can be checked off. Export as standard or branded PDF available.
An interactive Chart.js diagram shows the development of all metrics over time — visibility, PageSpeed scores, Core Web Vitals, and more. This way you can identify trends and the impact of your optimizations. CSV export for all historical data is free.
The Visibility Index is a composite score (0-100) that measures how visible a website is across search engines and AI systems. It combines three factors:
You can scan your own site (uses GSC data, free) or any external site (uses DataForSEO ranked keywords data,). The optional AI citability check costs. All scans are saved in a history so you can track progress over time.
The Keyword Hub is the central workspace for all keyword features with 10 tabs:
Additional features: Seasonality (peak badges show when keywords are in high season), Traffic Value (estimated monthly value per keyword: CPC x clicks), and SERP analysis history for all AI tools.
Works with and without GSC connection. Without GSC, the Keyword Finder is available for manual research. Learn more
The SEO Opportunity Engine is a mathematical model that automatically calculates your best optimization opportunities from GSC data:
The model uses CTR target curves with statistical confidence (mean +/- 1.96 x std) and risk-adjusted scoring. The calculation is free (included in GSC sync). Learn more
The Action Plans tab aggregates all SEO issues from 4 sources (low hanging fruits, CTR gaps, cannibalization, ranking changes) and uses AI to generate a concrete action catalog per page with priorities.
Two stages:
Cost is calculated per started batch of 15 pages. Exact rate: see /credits#feature-prices.
Keyword enrichment adds search volume (SV), keyword difficulty (KD), and cost per click (CPC) from current SERP data to your keywords.
Exact rate: see /credits#feature-prices.
Rankmio compares keyword positions from the last 14 days with the previous 14 days. Rising badges (green) indicate improvements, Falling badges (red) indicate declines. The top movers are also displayed on the dashboard.
The Domain Scan analyzes any domain and extracts up to 200 organic keywords with position, search volume and traffic share. Ideal for discovering competitor keywords.
The Keyword Gap Analysis compares your domain with a competitor and shows keywords the competitor ranks for but you don't. A quick way to find content opportunities you're missing.
The SERP Overlap Analysis checks if multiple pages on your site compete for the same keywords in search results (keyword cannibalization at SERP level). It identifies pages that may be hurting each other's rankings.
The Topic Explorer generates related topics, subtopics and questions around a keyword. Helps with content planning by showing you what users are searching for and what content gaps exist.
Keyword Enrichment enriches saved keywords with search volume, keyword difficulty and CPC data via DataForSEO. Data is cached for 30 days so repeat enrichments on the same keywords are free.
GEO optimizes your website for visibility in AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. While classic SEO targets Google rankings, GEO ensures that AI systems cite and recommend your content as a source.
The GEO module includes: GEO audit, link graph analysis, AI Visibility Score, AI crawler access, content freshness, score trend, Schema.org generator, entity gap analysis, AI citation tracking, product mention KPI, GEO action plan, and open industry ranking.
A maximum of 2 GEO audits per project are stored (the current one + the previous one). Each new audit automatically replaces the oldest.
Trend data is preserved: The score development (Topic Coverage, AI Readiness, Freshness) is saved separately, so the trend chart can display the history across multiple audits — even after older audits have been deleted.
You can choose between 100, 250, and 400 pages when creating a new GEO audit. More pages mean more accurate results, but also longer analysis time.
For most websites, 250 pages (default) provides a good balance between coverage and speed.
Rankmio checks visibility across four AI search engines:
AI Citation Tracking regularly monitors whether and how often your pages are cited by these providers. Learn more
The simulation checks whether AI systems would use your page as an answer source:
Saved simulations can be re-checked to measure progress. Learn more
Free alternative: Click "Ask Chat Agent" to open the Content Studio, where the Chat Agent generates 5 AI questions with simulated answers for free. Each question+answer can be inserted directly into your content with one click. The Chat Agent does not perform a real web search, but provides a quick, cost-free assessment.
The Open Industry Ranking shows which brands are most visible in AI answers for a specific topic:
The Industry Ranking is located above the Answer Simulation on the same page. Learn more
The Citability Check evaluates how well a page can be recognized and cited as a source by AI systems. The 12-point checklist includes:
Result: Score 0-100 with concrete improvement suggestions. Optional: AI optimization that generates optimized HTML code with before/after comparison. Learn more
The AI Answer Simulation shows you how AI search engines would answer questions about your domain. You enter a URL — optionally with a specific question and a city reference — and the system simulates the AI's response.
Precision Modes: In addition to the standard simulation, you can choose Multi-Query (3x) for higher reliability or Premium (5x) for maximum accuracy. Fanout mode tests multiple query variations simultaneously.
Ideal for regularly checking and systematically improving your AI visibility. Learn more
The Citability Score measures on a scale of 0 to 100 how likely it is that AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews will cite and reference your content as a source.
The score is based on 12 checkpoints:
The higher the score, the better your page is optimized for AI citation. Optionally, the AI optimization generates improved HTML code with before/after comparison. Learn more
AI Citation Tracking monitors whether AI search engines cite your website when users search for your keywords:
Pricing model: Citation Tracking is billed per keyword × engine. Monitoring charges all repetitions upfront (formula: keywords × engine costs × repetitions × vote factor). Exact engine prices: see /credits#feature-prices. Learn more
AI Visibility Comparison measures your domain's share in AI answers compared to competitors. You enter up to 20 keywords and 3 competitors, and the tool checks Google AIO, Gemini and Perplexity.
Result: percentage visibility share per domain — showing how often each domain is mentioned or cited in AI-generated answers across the selected keywords.
The GEO Content Gap Analysis identifies content that AI systems expect in their answers but is missing from your page. It shows specific topics and entities you should add to improve your chances of being cited by AI search engines.
Three modes under one roof:
The Battle Scheduler automates recurring 1:1 comparisons. You choose the frequency:
Battles run automatically via cron job. You receive the results on the dashboard and in the battle history.
The Sitemap Monitor watches your competitors' sitemaps and automatically detects:
When changes occur, you receive an email alert. This keeps you informed about your competition's content strategy.
Cost: credits are charged upfront for all scheduled checks. Exact rate: see /credits#feature-prices.
The deep analysis crawls 50 or 100 subpages of a competitor domain and delivers:
The Sitemap Hub crawls your entire website via spider, technically checks each URL, and classifies it via AI using advanced language models:
Generates an optimized sitemap.xml for download. 5-tab result: Overview, URL table, AI classification, audit, and download.
7 functions in one tool:
The parser follows Google's specification: wildcards, $ anchors, longest-match-wins. Supports 20 bots in 4 categories (Search, AI, Social, Other).
The Content Optimizer offers two modes:
Integrated citability workflow: Load page, run citability check, generate AI-optimized HTML code — all in one flow.
Yes. The beginner wizard guides you step by step through Rankmio's key features. You choose one of 5 use cases — e.g., website check, keyword research, AI visibility check, competitor comparison, or content optimization — and the wizard shows you exactly which tools you need and how to get started.
Ideal for new users who want to become productive quickly without having to click through all features first. Learn more
The URL Picker is the unified page selector used across all tools. Instead of manually typing URLs, you conveniently choose from three sources:
The modal includes a search function and displays sources clearly separated. Available in subpage analysis, Content Optimizer, GEO audit, answer simulation, and more.
The Lead (creator) creates a team and invites members by email (they must be registered). Then the lead assigns which projects each member can view and edit.
Team management has 3 tabs: Members (invite/remove), Project Assignment (who can see what), and Credit Usage (usage per member).
All actions by team members are deducted from the lead's credit pool. Members' own credits remain untouched. Learn more
The first 2 members are free. From the 3rd member onwards, are charged per added member (one-time). There are no recurring costs for the team itself — only the usual credit costs for features used.

"Ask your Website" is the most advanced AI-powered SEO and GEO advisor on the market. It appears as a floating chat widget on every page in the dashboard. You ask questions in natural language and receive data-driven answers based on your real project data.
The assistant has direct access to all your project-specific SEO and GEO data — Google Search Console metrics, crawled website content, keyword rankings, GEO citability scores, and the complete Rankmio manual. Using RAG technology with vector embeddings, it retrieves precisely the information relevant to your question.
What makes it unique: The agent supports tool-calling — it can autonomously run analyses, fetch SERP data, generate content briefs, and trigger GEO audits directly from the chat. It maintains session memory per project, so follow-up questions build on previous context. Powered by the most advanced AI language models available, no other SEO tool offers this depth of AI integration. It can also be operated via voice input — simply click the microphone icon and speak.
You can ask anything related to your website and its SEO performance. Examples:
The agent uses your real data and never fabricates numbers.
Questions like „Why doesn't my page rank?", „Why no clicks?" or „Why is my visibility low?" automatically trigger the chat agent's diagnostic mode. Instead of dumping data, you get a focused diagnosis with exactly 3 prioritized weak points drawn from 7 axes:
Phrasing follows an „effect first" rule — e.g. „AI guesses your brand wrong" instead of „missing sameAs in Schema". After the 3 points, you'll see a hint about further weak points and can drill down with follow-up questions like „what else?", „more on Schema?" — the agent stays in diagnostic context.
Yes. The agent knows your website content. Crawled page texts, headings, and meta data are automatically analyzed and prepared for the assistant.
This allows it to give concrete content recommendations — for example, which topics are missing on which pages, how a text could be better structured, or whether important keywords are sufficiently covered.
Additionally, the agent knows the Rankmio manual and can answer workflow questions like "How do I start a GEO analysis?" or "What does the Citability Score mean?".
Yes. The agent can execute actions directly on your instruction:
Before each action, the agent displays the credit cost and asks for confirmation. The action is only executed after your approval — no hidden costs.
The chat agent has a generous free daily allowance and beyond that uses a per-message credit rate. Actions like website analyses or content briefs cost the standard feature credits (always shown before execution). Voice input incurs no additional costs. Exact rates: see /credits#feature-prices.
Yes. Your conversations are saved per project. You can access and continue previous conversations at any time via the clock icon in the chat header. Click the plus icon to start a new chat.
All data is stored on our server in Germany and is not shared with third parties. The content is used exclusively to answer your questions.
Unlike general chatbots like ChatGPT, "Ask your Website" offers a unique depth of AI integration that no other SEO tool on the market provides:
The agent is exclusively specialized in SEO, GEO, and your website. It is the most powerful AI advisor available in any SEO tool today.
Rankmio offers PDF reports for SEO analyses, site audits, GEO audits and action items.
Additionally, CSV exports are available for keyword data, analysis history and other datasets — always free of charge.
Rankmio only stores data necessary for operation:
Full details in our privacy policy. Server location: Germany. Encryption: HTTPS (Let's Encrypt), API keys with AES-256-CBC, CSRF protection on all forms.
Rankmio automatically deletes data after defined retention periods:
Yes. In accordance with GDPR Art. 20 (Data Portability), you can download all your data as a JSON file at Profile → Export Data. The export includes account data, projects, analysis results, keywords, and settings.
Yes. In accordance with GDPR Art. 17 (Right to Erasure), you can permanently and irreversibly delete all your data at Profile → Delete Account. The deletion includes account, projects, analyses, keywords, team memberships, and all stored results.
In the logged-in area, you'll find a discreet „Feedback" link in the sidebar (mobile + desktop, next to FAQ). The form lets you choose a category (bug, feature wish, praise, question, other), enter free text (5–5000 characters), and send. Your message arrives directly in our team's inbox — your account email is included automatically so we can reply if needed.
Sending feedback is free and costs no credits. We read every message personally.
Rankmio uses the following external APIs for analysis and AI features:
All API communication is encrypted via HTTPS. No personal data is shared beyond what is necessary for the respective service. Full details in our privacy policy.
The Content Studio is your AI-powered content creation hub. Upload brand documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT) or import URLs to build a brand knowledge base. The AI then creates targeted content briefs, identifies buyer personas, and generates SEO-optimized articles — all grounded in your actual brand data.
You can upload PDF, DOCX, and TXT files (max. 10 MB each). Additionally, you can import content directly from public URLs or paste text manually. All uploaded content is automatically chunked and embedded for AI-powered retrieval.
Content Briefs are AI-generated editorial plans for a specific topic. They include title suggestions, an H2 outline with key points, core messages, E-E-A-T recommendations, and target keywords — all enriched with your brand context from the knowledge base.
Yes. Each document in the library has an „Active" checkbox in the leftmost column of the table. Only marked documents feed into persona generation, content briefs, the brand context for content generation, and the brand-keyword analysis. Inactive documents stay stored in the library but are excluded from the AI — useful if you want to keep older versions in the library without polluting fresh generations.
In the header you see a counter „X of Y active for AI" plus the buttons „Activate all" / „Deactivate all" for switching the whole set in one click. While a document is still being processed (status pending or processing), the checkbox is disabled — activation is only possible after the embedding completes.
The AI analyzes your active brand documents and identifies 2-4 buyer personas with name, description, pain points, goals, preferred channels, and content preferences. You can also create personas manually or edit AI-generated ones.
If your library contains documents but none is marked active, a confirm dialog appears before generation: „Create generic personas based on domain and industry topics?" — you decide consciously whether to proceed without brand context.
Persona names never appear in the generated article: the name (e.g. „Marketing Max") is an internal AI label only. The article addresses the audience generically by role („as a Marketing Manager", „many decision-makers") — so readers don\'t encounter an unintroduced character.
Every generated draft automatically receives a Citability Score (0-100) measuring how likely AI search engines are to cite the content. The check evaluates 14 criteria including headings structure, Schema.org markup, facts, entities, references, and E-E-A-T signals. Schema.org JSON-LD (Article + FAQ) is auto-generated and can be copied or exported with the HTML download.
When Rankmio generates Schema.org markup (Article, FAQ, Organization, Product etc.), it automatically adds sameAs references to Wikidata and Wikipedia. This is one of the strongest signals for AI search engines to unambiguously disambiguate an entity — for example, distinguishing whether „Jaguar" refers to the car, the animal, or the sports team.
The matching happens context-based: Rankmio compares your page content with Wikidata descriptions and selects the most fitting entity. Lookups are cached for 30 days, so further generations stay fast. If the Wikidata API is briefly unavailable, the schema is still generated — only without the sameAs links.
Result: a substantially better chance that your content is correctly attributed and cited in AI answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews).
The Content Studio includes a full WYSIWYG editor for editing generated drafts or writing new content from scratch. It features auto-save (every 60 seconds), URL import for existing pages, and a live Citability check that scores your content in real-time. You can export the finished content as a complete HTML file with meta tags and Schema.org markup.
The editor opens at 900px height (more visible canvas, less scrolling) and can be resized via the drag handle at the bottom. If you open the editor and leave without entering content, no empty „Untitled" draft is created — the draft is only persisted when you actually do something (title >2 chars, text >5 chars, insert a media element, or explicit save).
Every generated draft automatically receives default image and video placeholders at H2 positions (configurable per brief, default: 1 image + 1 video). You can swap them with one click via the Media tab in the editor sidebar, which offers three sub-tabs:
Replace an existing image or video in place: Click the image or video in the editor (it gets an orange outline as a visual marker), then switch to the Media tab and pick a new asset → the marked element is replaced instead of appended at the end. Works with all three sources and with the auto-inserted default placeholders.
Saving the draft persists all inserted media as part of the HTML, and the HTML export includes them.
The Keyword Panel shows keywords from three sources: your own page, competitors, and brand documents. Keywords can be enriched with real SERP data (search volume, keyword difficulty, position, search intent) — you select which ones to enrich and only pay for what you use. The panel features sortable columns, live occurrence counting in your editor text, and keyword stuffing warnings. Pricing: see /credits#feature-prices.
In the Library, you can set a Project Context: your own page URL and up to 2 competitor URLs. These URLs are synced to the Editor and used for keyword extraction and comparison. A URL picker makes it easy to select from all URLs in your project. The context is saved per project and persists across sessions.
First document upload and first URL import per project are free. With your own OpenAI API key, content generation and citability full check are free (no credits deducted). All other Content Studio actions cost credits — the exact amount is displayed before each click. Full price list: see /credits#feature-prices.
You can add your OpenAI key in your profile settings.
Yes. You can add your own OpenAI API key in your profile settings. The key is validated against the OpenAI API when you save it and stored encrypted (AES-256-CBC). With your own key active, content generation and the citability full check are free — no credits are deducted. Simply activate the "Own API key" toggle in the Content Studio.
Yes. The Content Studio has a dedicated chat agent mode. When you open the chat agent from within the editor, it automatically switches to Content Studio mode and has full access to your loaded content — the draft text, brand documents, competitor data and the content brief. You can ask questions about your content, request rewrites of specific sections, get SEO suggestions, or have it analyze your text structure. The agent answers based on the actual loaded material, not general knowledge.
Yes, each project can have up to 20 active drafts. When the limit is reached, you can archive or delete an existing draft to free up space. Archived drafts remain readable and exportable but do not count against the limit. Additionally, the first document upload and first URL import per project are free of charge.
Select text in the editor and choose from 5 modes: SEO, readability, shorten, expand, or citability. AI optimizes the text while preserving all formatting. Free with your own API key, otherwise 1 credit.
The Gaps tab shows missing topics from competitor analysis with traffic light status: Red (missing), Yellow (mentioned), Green (covered). Click to insert gaps as headings or generate an AI paragraph.
4 sources: GSC rankings of your URL, content analysis (from editor text), competitor extraction, and project keywords. Without a URL, keywords are automatically extracted from your written text.
WordPress publishing is free. With your own OpenAI API key, AI optimization and citability check are free. All other Content Studio actions cost credits — full price list: see /credits#feature-prices.
Yes. From every draft in the Content Studio you can push directly to your WordPress site — no copy-paste, no manual upload. One-time setup: under Profile → Publish, save the connection (URL, WordPress username, Application Password from your WP profile). HTTPS is mandatory; the Application Password is stored AES-256 encrypted on our server and can be revoked at any time in WordPress without affecting your main login.
What ships with the post: title, content, slug, excerpt, categories, tags, featured image (auto-extracted from the first article image), and — if Yoast SEO is detected on your site — the Yoast SEO title and meta description.
Multi-site: Manage multiple WP connections per account (agency use case). Scheduling: Publish now or schedule for a specific date and time; a cron job picks up scheduled posts every 2 minutes, with retry-backoff on transient errors. Cost: Free — no credits used.
Bing AI Performance is a report inside Bing Webmaster Tools, launched as a public preview in February 2026. It's the first search platform report that shows first-party AI-citation data: how often Microsoft Copilot and Bing AI-generated summaries cite a URL, which grounding queries Copilot generates internally to find the page, and — since the June 2026 update — search intents, topic clusters and a compare feature. Rankmio complements its own citation tracker (which prompts ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews) with this Microsoft first-party data, so you get a full picture of AI visibility across all major engines.
Open bing.com/webmasters, pick the property, click „AI Performance" in the left sidebar, choose a period (30 or 90 days works well), then hit the Export button top-right and pick CSV. Rankmio accepts two formats: the AI Performance Overview (columns: Date, Citations, Cited Pages — a daily time series) and the Cited Queries detail report (columns: URL, Query, Citations, Intent, Topic). Upload one or both under /geo/bing-ai/upload.
Yes. Bing exports column headers in the property's language. The parser normalises umlauts (ä→a, ö→o, ü→u, ß→ss) and matches both English and German variants: URL / Seite / Zielseite, Query / Abfrage / Grounding-Abfrage, Citations / Zitate / Zitierungen, Date / Datum / Zeitraum, Intent / Absicht / Suchintention, Topic / Thema / Kategorie, Cited Pages / Zitierte Seiten. The delimiter (comma, semicolon, tab) is auto-detected.
Microsoft launched the AI Performance report in February 2026 but has not yet published an official API endpoint for it. The classic Bing Webmaster API covers search performance but not AI Performance data. As soon as Microsoft ships an API, Rankmio will add an auto-sync flow on top — the CSV upload will stay available as a fallback. In the meantime, monthly manual export is a small effort for a significant data advantage: no other SEO platform (Sistrix, Ahrefs, SE Ranking, XOVI) shows Copilot citations in their dashboard.
Live since 24 June 2026: the editor's right sidebar shows a Schema card with three things. (1) Diagnostic info from the source URL — number of JSON-LD blocks, detected types (Article, FAQPage, etc.), conflict warning if more than one block. (2) FAQ drift detection in the editor content via four DOM patterns (heading with ?, definition list, details/summary, plain-inline cluster) — warns if 3+ Q&A pairs are present without FAQPage schema. (3) Self-healing: drafts created before 24 June auto-refresh their schema data on the next editor open. The data is persisted in a separate column content_schema_json so manually generated schemas never collide with the source-URL diagnostic.
If your editor content contains Q&A structures (3+ pairs), the citability full check shows a new green pill „FAQ schema (0 Cr)" next to the „FAQ schema available" item. One click builds a valid FAQPage JSON-LD from the detected pairs using pure heuristics — no LLM call, no credit cost, no hallucination risk. Filter thresholds: question ≥15 chars, answer ≥50 chars, so marketing pseudos like „Ready to start?" stay out of the schema. The generated schema is stored in content_schema_json and the full check turns green on the next run. The classic LLM-based „Generate schema" button still exists at the „Schema markup" item and costs 1 credit — use it when you want a multi-type schema like Article + FAQPage in one @graph.
Drift = visible content carries Q&A pairs but no FAQPage JSON-LD marks them up. AI crawlers like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini parse content faster and more reliably when it is explicitly typed. The detector finds Q&A pairs even when the source page hides them behind Accordion widgets (Alpine.js, JS click-to-expand) — those usually get stripped by HTML sanitizers and end up as one big plain-text paragraph in the editor. The cluster algorithm spots them anyway by looking for 3+ question marks in close proximity (≤1500 chars apart) and pulling the answer text in between. If you see the amber drift warning, the recommended action is one click on the „FAQ schema (0 Cr)" pill above.
A dedicated area for your backlink profile with a health score (0–100), anchor distribution, referring domains and toxic check. Six tabs cover the full picture: Overview, Backlinks, Anchors, Referring Domains, 12-month Trend (with Chart.js mini-chart), and the new Gap tab (live since June 2026). The health score combines toxic ratio, anchor diversity and referring-domain growth. Toxic classification runs via spam score plus authority threshold. Hover the "DR" column header for a tooltip explaining the DataForSEO 0–1000 scale.
The Gap tab in the Backlinks hub finds domains that link to your pinned competitors but not to you — the editorial outreach pipeline. Quick analysis pulls 200 referring domains per competitor; Deep pulls 1,000. Results are scored by compCount × 50 + min(DR, 80) × 0.3 − spam/TLD malus — multi-competitor overlap is the strong editorial signal, DR is capped at 80 because higher is suspicious.
Quality filter (on by default): spam TLDs (.vip, .xyz, .top, .tk …), spam keywords in the domain name (casino, slot, aviator, backlinkseller …), off-market TLDs (detected from your own domain) and same-entity merge (ahrefs.jp gets folded into ahrefs.com). The "Show suspicious" pill switches filtered domains back into view with badges "Spam" or "Off-market". Cache: 14 days per project.
Yes. The chat agent got 9 new tools in June 2026 covering all three new trackers — you can ask in plain language and it pulls the real project data:
Example: "Which keywords moved the most in the last 14 days?" returns a combined list with the data source per keyword. "For which phrases am I not cited at all?" returns the 0% phrases sorted by tries.
Instead of querying each keyword individually, the Position Tracker uses bulk ranked-keywords calls — up to 1,000 keywords per domain per call. That makes it significantly faster and roughly 80% cheaper than per-call lookups. The hub shows a Share-of-SERP score (0–100), a position distribution (Top-3 / 4-10 / 11-20), a 30-day history chart with GSC overlay, a competitor gap tab and a quick-wins block (positions 4–15 with volume).
A watchlist for your visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AIO and Claude. Per phrase you see engine-status dots (red/yellow/green), competitor mentions and an answer excerpt — directly linked to a brief action. Since June 2026 there are two modes: Auto (GSC Top-N) monitors your top-N keywords from Google Search Console automatically, Custom (Manual) allows own phrases beyond GSC data. Both run in parallel and are toggled by tab. The Trend tab shows citation rate over 30 days plus phrase movement. The Overview tab generates AI recommendations for 0% phrases: concrete action suggestions (create brief or optimize existing page) for phrases where you are not cited at all.
One click pulls up to 1,000 ranking keywords per competitor domain — with position, search volume and URL. In the detail view your own position and GSC data appear next to the competitor ranking, with a green check marking keywords already in your project. Multi-sort, checkbox selection, direct transfer into project keywords. Important: when transferring, the competitor's position is never copied — only your own GSC data flows in. Pinned project keywords get a “Wettb.” source badge so the origin stays visible.
Click into the editor text so the cursor is active, then click the red microphone icon in the TinyMCE toolbar. Allow microphone access, speak (max. 60 seconds per recording), and click the mic again to stop. OpenAI Whisper transcribes the audio and inserts the text at your cursor.
Pricing model: One free dictation per day, paid dictations after that — exact rate: see /credits#feature-prices. The price label right next to the mic always shows whether the next attempt is free or charged.
If you click the mic without first clicking into the text, you'll see a hint: "Click into the text first" — no recording starts, no credit charged.
The audio recording is sent server-side to OpenAI Whisper for transcription and discarded immediately after the response. We do not store the audio file. Only the transcribed text reaches your editor — and only stays there if you save the draft. OpenAI processes the audio according to their API policy; we have signed a Data Processing Agreement with OpenAI. Details in our privacy policy.
