Rankmio Position Tracker

Also known as: Position Tracker, Rank Tracker, Ranking tracker

The Rankmio Position Tracker is the module for classic ranking tracking, built on the bulk-first architecture: for each domain the Discovery Bundle XL runs as the main source (up to 1,000 ranking keywords per pull), complemented by a watchlist for keywords that do not yet rank or that need particularly close monitoring. Reporting: trend charts per keyword, movers lists (positions gained/lost per day), Share of SERP per topic cluster, competitor comparison.

Key reports

Integration with other modules

Data from the Position Tracker feeds into: the action list (movers trigger tasks — for example ”keyword X has lost 6 positions, please check”), the Citation Tracker (classic top 10 rankings as a prerequisite for AI citation), the chat agent (data queries such as ”which movers were there today?”), and Content Studio (automatically preparing briefs based on position 11–20 quick wins).

Example from practice

Example: an agency looks after a client with 50 prioritised watchlist keywords. With Discovery Bundle XL the entire domain is tracked in parallel: 478 ranking keywords. Watchlist and bulk together yield 35 quick-win candidates in the sweet-spot range of 4–30. Weekly movers reports reveal movements that would have remained hidden without the bulk pull — 14 long tail keywords have jumped into the top 10 in the past 30 days that nobody had on the watchlist. These become the basis for content expansions.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Rankmio Position Tracker do?
The Position Tracker monitors Google rankings for defined keywords over time. Daily position checks, trend analysis, comparison with competitors and alerts when significant shifts occur. The basis for data-driven SEO reporting.
How many keywords can be tracked?
Unlimited, on a credit basis. Every position check costs credits. Small projects: 20–50 keywords. SMEs: 100–300. Enterprise: 1,000+. The bulk-first architecture lowers costs considerably compared with individual requests.
Which search engines and regions are covered?
Google in all 188 countries. Mobile and desktop can also be tracked separately. For a DACH focus: DE, AT and CH with localised results. Other regions on request.
How often is measurement carried out?
Daily for tracked keywords. Every night all positions are pulled again, trends are aggregated and alerts are checked. Manual interim measurements are possible at any time, but cost additional credits.
