Rankmio Action List

Also known as: Action list, To-do list, SEO task list

The Rankmio Action List is the central collection of tasks per project, where all SEO and GEO findings from site audits, GEO audits, the Keyword Hub, the Citation Tracker and other modules arrive as concrete, prioritised tasks. It closes the familiar gap between ”the analysis shows a problem” and ”the problem has actually been solved”: instead of letting findings disappear into PDFs, they are created as editable tasks, assigned to the person responsible, given a deadline and documented once completed.

What ends up in the Action List

List vs. Kanban

The Action List offers two views: List for a classic table overview with sorting by priority, deadline and person responsible; Kanban for visual status tracking (”Backlog”, ”In progress”, ”Review”, ”Done”). It can be switched per user preference — data and status synchronise across the views.

Connection to other modules

Every action task has a backlink to its source: which analysis did the finding come from? Which URL is affected? Which score was measured, and when? This makes it possible to check directly after a task is completed whether the source metric has improved — for example, whether the completed ”citability optimisation, article X” task really did raise the score by 20 points. The Action List is therefore not only a task manager, but the link between diagnosis and measurement of results.

Example from practice

Example: An agency looks after 8 client projects in Rankmio. After every weekly audit, the top 15 findings per project arrive automatically in the Action List, priority is suggested by the tool, and deadlines are added manually. After 3 months of use: the completion rate rises from 40 % previously (Excel tasks) to 87 % (Rankmio Action List), and in parallel the average visibility growth rate of the client projects doubles — because findings no longer get lost.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Rankmio Action List?
The Action List is the central to-do list in Rankmio for each project. It collects concrete optimisation tasks from the SEO audit, GEO audit, Opportunity Engine and competitor analysis — with impact prioritisation and a what-how-why explanation.
Who creates the entries?
Rankmio automatically, plus manual input. Automatic sources: site audit, GEO audit, opportunity score, chat agent recommendations. Manual: your own tasks can be added. Everything sits centrally in one list, prioritised by impact-to-effort ratio.
How does the Action List prioritise?
By the sweet spot formula: impact (potential traffic or ranking gain) × probability / effort. Quick wins with high impact and low effort sit at the top. Complex strategies with a long lead time sit further down.
Can the Action List be shared?
Yes, via team access. In Rankmio projects with several team members, the Action List is shared. Tasks can be assigned to individual people. For agencies: a separate Action List per client project, with client access.
