The score follows the rules of the GEO audit, the hints sit alongside

Since October 2026 Rankmio measures citability by the same rules everywhere: in the GEO audit, in the page analysis and live in the Content Studio editor. The score counts verifiable requirements such as one H1, at least two H2 headings in longer texts, a clean heading order, short paragraphs, lists or tables, and for posts author and date. This check runs without AI and costs nothing.

Content hints that do not count towards the score sit alongside: schema, substantiated facts, clear statements, sources and the search term in headings and text. Only the assessment of named entities uses AI.

Integration with the Content Studio

Findings from the GEO Audit appear in the Content Studio as live recommendations: the editor warns you directly when an H2 is not a question, when the answer comes too late, or when the Schema.org markup is incomplete. This creates a live optimisation loop — the audit score does not rise only after publication, but while you are editing.
