Rankmio Credits are the consumption units used to bill chargeable actions — AI content generation, bulk pulls, citation tracking runs, premium audit functions. Every feature has a defined credit price that is deducted from the account balance when it is executed. This enables usage-based pricing that scales fairly: those who use little pay little, and those who use a great deal have clear cost transparency for each action.
The complete price list for each feature is held centrally at /credits#feature-prices. All other places in the system (FAQ, manual, feature pages, insights) deliberately avoid quoting specific credit values — this prevents inconsistencies when prices are adjusted and concentrates the price list in a single source of truth. Within the interface itself, credit costs are shown directly on the action button (”Start bulk pull — 4 Cr”), so that users have clarity before every action.
On the code side, all credit values are retrieved via CreditService::getCost($key) — a single source of truth with an admin override for each feature. Hardcoded credit figures in views, language files or templates are explicitly forbidden in Rankmio (user instruction), so that price adjustments take effect globally without a code bug.
Example: An agency looks after 8 client projects. For each client the following runs weekly: 1 Discovery Bundle XL, 1 citation tracking run (24 phrases × 5 engines × 3 repetitions = 360 calls), 1 site audit, and around 3 content briefs with article generation. Over a month this produces a clear credit consumption figure that is reported per client and can be passed on in the agency's invoice. Clear cost accounting per client — no flat fee, but real consumption data.
