Rankmio Teams (Teams Light)

Also known as: Teams, Teams Light, Multi-user

Rankmio Teams (internally ”Teams Light”) is the multi-user function that allows a main account to invite up to 3 additional users — each with their own login, their own activity trail, but access to the main account's shared projects. Ideal for agencies with a small team, or for companies in which several employees work on the same domains. It is called ”Light” because there are currently no granular role permissions per project — all invited users see the same projects with the same rights.

Usage scenarios

What Teams Light does NOT cover

Current limits: (1) No multi-tenancy at project level — all team members see all projects, with no project-specific roles. (2) A maximum of 3 additional users per main account. (3) No white-label reports for agencies that want to deliver client reports under their own brand. (4) No separate client logins for read-only access to specific projects. More complex scenarios (large agencies, multi-stage approval workflows) require an extended Teams Pro function, which is planned as a roadmap extension.

Example from practice

Example: A four-person marketing agency (owner + 3 employees) manages 12 client projects in Rankmio. The owner is the main account, three employees are team members. Each has their own login and their own activity trail. Tasks are distributed across the team: employee A for 4 clients, employee B for 4, employee C for 4 plus cross-reviews. The action list shows for each task who completed it. Credit consumption comes from the main account's pool and can be billed per employee. A classic light team configuration that is sufficient for four-person teams.

Frequently asked questions

What is Teams Light in Rankmio?
Teams Light is Rankmio's simple team collaboration feature: up to 5 additional users per project, shared access to the dashboard and action list, and joint comments. There is no full permissions management as found in enterprise systems.
Who is Teams Light intended for?
Small marketing teams and agencies with few clients. SME marketing departments with 2–5 people. Agencies with 3–10 clients. For enterprise teams with 20+ users and complex permission models, Teams Light is not sufficient.
Can team members work at the same time?
Yes, concurrent editing is supported. The action list, notes and Content Studio allow parallel sessions. Conflicts are resolved last-write-wins, with a change history for traceability.
What does Teams Light cost?
Included in the Pro tier. Basis and Starter have no team access. The Pro tier includes Teams Light for up to 5 additional users. For more users, individual enterprise agreements are possible.
